Has anyone done Penny Haren's Pieced Applique?
I've never heard of it before.
I'd like to hear pro's and con's, if any.
Thanks

I saw some of the ladies from the quilt guild group was making some cool projects and they had just taken a class with her in Indiana

I just searched and found a video for us to see and wow, I love her new ruler for fussy cut

I just found her website and this shows her books and classes that she offers.

I bought her book a week ago.... Pieced Applique Intricate Blocks Made Easy. I was wondering if there was a group around here that wanted to work through it together.

I am going to look at the links you found. I'll be back...

This video shows the difference between the books. Mine is the 3rd book.

Thanks Craftybear for the links.
I'd forgotten I'd even started this thread, I've been so busy with other things.
After Xmas maybe I'll have time to try out her technique.

If you are interested, I put together a group to go through this book together:

Quilting Forum -> Blocks of the Month and Week
Penny Haren's "Pieced Applique "... 1 block a week begins January 2011

I hope you join in the fun there. I've posted a schedule there, too, to help you decide if the timing is right for you. I hope to see you there!
