Thread: Pieced Rocking Horse Quilt

I am looking for a pattern for Pieced Rocking Horse. I had the pattern in a magazine about 25 years ago. Kept it forever, cannot find now. Really cool pattern. Anyone else out there ever see/use it?

Thanks, the one I am looking for looks like the pattern was produce on graph paper. Small squares, made into the horse. Embroidery floss was used for the mane and tail.

Your post caused me to have a flash back ! Years back, more than 25, I made a rocky horse wall hanging; it wasn't a quilt but an applique. Believe it or not I do have a huge bag of old patterns, including all the smocking plates and patterns that I used then also. I'll spend the afternoon going through that bag and look for my pattern and several walks down a lot of memory lanes !
