Default Piecing together a pattern-help?

I found a pattern on FreePatterns.com and it is called peek-a-boo. It comes from the Big Book of 20 Pieced Candle Mats designed by
Ruth Swasey
. I have tried to do this pattern and can't figure it out. Is anyone familiar w/ this pattern? I looked on the internet to see others called p a b but this one is
and it doesn't look like the others that I have found.

It will be a bit tricky to sew the strips to the center block and that is probably where you are confused, but I wouldn't begin to know how to explain the procedure to you, hopefully one of the seasoned quilters here will chime in and help you out. Good luck with the project.

Are the partial seams the bit that is giving you problems? It wasn't explained very well in the pattern. Maybe this will help

Yes the partial seams. And it said it was an easy pattern! Could be since I just started quilting a couple of months ago. Thanks for the information I am going to go check it out.

Thank you. Sorry for all the other posts. Haven't figured out how to post or reply yet. I looked at the video and it explained it very clearly. Can't wait to work on it. Thanks again.
