I did charity pillowcases for our Guild awhile ago. It involved cutting out a 3/4 yd x wof piece and a 1/4 yd x wof piece plus a little strip to go between the pieces. You then lay them out somehow, sew, and turn it inside out and voila, pretty fabric with no seams. You sew down the edges of the right sides, flip it in, and sew down the wrong sides, and you're done.

I can't for the life of me remember how to lay out the fabric for the first seam. I know it makes a tube, but that's it. Any idea? I would prefer to stick with this method rather than learning a new one :)

I think it's called a French seam. Try googling that. I know I've seen a video showing how to do it, but never did one. So, I'm no help. I don't remember how to do it either!

she doesn't make the French seam ~ when you get to that step just sew along seams wrong sides together then flip so right sides are together & resew making sure first seam is covered (does this make sense?)

Thank you, thank you, thank you! That's exactly the pattern I wanted, with the little piece. Thanks!
