OK so today I was at the thrift stores and saw a pink Altas sewing machine in a cabinet. I didn't even pay attention to the asking price, but I don't think it was much. I'm not into the old machines like many of you are, but is this something I might sure buy and resale? Is there a "want" for this machine? I know nothing about it. I may have to go back Monday and check it out just in case any one on here is interested.

I checked out the Etsy site Crafty Bear posted. If it looks anything like the one on Etsy grab it. It is so cool looking!! Wish I could afford one...oh wait I don't have room anyway! Haha.

Too bad you're on the wrong side of the state from my granddaughter. She'd bring it home for me, but she's at Havelock on or near the Marine Corps base.

I had one, which I passed along to another QB member. I loved it. Worked great- great stitch, easy to use. All metal parts. It was a fabulous machine. And PINK! which I also loved. Grab it!

Definitely a demand if the price is right.

Didn't someone here have a pink machine in their avatar? Haven't seen it in a while.

If you can get a picture I would like to see if it is the one that I am looking for. Been searching, but its always "sold" before I can get it. I am looking for the 1955 + model, with a man holding the earth "atlas". This is the machine that I learned on.
