I have an opportunity to buy a Singer c-100 Futura embroidery machine, asking price is $200. I can't find anything about that model on the internet, maybe the model number is incorrect. Does anyone have this machine? How do you like it? I would be a first time embroiderer, and have no past experience. I'm hoping to be able to embroider a few pictures, sew quilt tags, and do some monograms.

You should sew with it first. Try out what you want it to do, because I have heard there are a lot of lemons out there.

    I found this on Amazon:
    http://www.amazon.com/Singer-CE-100-...6364168&sr=8-2
There are 42 reviews of it, and 18 of them are 1-star reviews.

While I like my CE-150, there is not much room for FMQ between the needle and the right of the machine...I got mine on e-Bay for $125, like new... Also, you must connect it to a computer to embroider.
