I'm looking for a pretty but rather simple pinwheel quilt pattern. Any assistance in this effort would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Pages 3 and 4 show sample layouts.
Check out Quilter's Cache. If she doesn't have one, then you didn't look very long!--LOL.

My favorite Pinwheel type patterns are Louisiana, Double Pinwheel, & Twisting Star.
There's an post on here about making pinwheels.Check the tutes section, or just search pinwheels & you'll find it.
I saw one recently that had six big pinwheels, two by three, with white and a pattern. The six pinwheels were sashed with white, and the border outside of that was the pattern. It really made the pattern fabric pop, and the pinwheels almost seemed to float.
Simple but nice!
Here's a video from Missouri Star Quilt Co. that shows making super easy pinwheels: http://www.youtube.com/user/Missouri.../3/ekYpJzHoW6E
Thanks everyone for the info on pinwheel quilts.
