    I get mine at Walmart but I do use the jeans needled and I sew pretty slow.

    Just make sure you are buying the Cotton 1/4" clothesline, your needle should easily stitch. Also, if using glue when wrapping that can get hard & break needles. I use a glue stick sparingly.

    Ami Simms has a good clothesline.....she has acute video showing her gizmo for wrapping strips. Looks like fun

    One lady who makes the bowls said she uses twine string, the kind farmers use to wrap hay with.

    I found some cotton line at Big Lots once upon a time. I was collecting it wherever I could find it and it is very scarce. Most of it now has plastic innards.
