Default Janome even feed rotary foot set for bindings?

Does anyone use this foot for bindings? I heard from one lady that it works wonders for her. Binding top and bottom at once. Maybe she is doing something smaller than quilts? (I have never even owned a conventional walking foot)

It seems like such a nifty foot, but $70 is a lot. Any users out there? And how do you do corners?

Hmmm, guess I'll stick with sewing the usual way. No spare cash here.

I don't have any of those foot, so would not be able to tell. You. My Janome came with more feet than I know what to do with I really should have taken a class. Oh well next time..

I bought a binding foot for my Janome. I haven't played with it enough to get it right yet!!! http://www.sewingmachinesplus.com/20...KU=j-200313005

a bit too pricey for me, too. i see that it ships from kens sewing center-very reputable.
i bought the individual binding folders many years ago. they look like the 3 size parts on the right. they were a tad difficult to use. i don't use them anymore.

the more expensive one is a set.
if you bought separate feet for each of the sizes and functions i expect they'd add up to more than $70.
it looks like it might be a practical choice for somebody who does garment sewing, too.
otherwise, one of the two "just binding" feet makes more sense.

i wonder two things:
(1) how hard is it to use them on a quilt sandwich; and
(2) how would you go around a corner?

2. Don't know because I couldn't get it to work on the straight sides of the quilt!!!

don't waste your money. I could have bound 3 queen quilts with the time I spent struggling to get that foot to work. The only way to get it to work on corners would be if the corners are rounded.
