Ladies, thank you so much for your help and the added links of the other Hunter' Star patterns. I look often, and post seldom but know that the kindness and generosity flows freely and this time it came my way. :-)

The cascade quilts tutorial is one that I plan to incorporate into the pattern I was searching for vs. all the squares. The unique borders of the Bear Paw Productions quilt caught my eye immediately and I've learned that even though most math is fun ... purchase the pattern, support the designer's idea and save myself loads of time - which is always much more expensive than the cost of the pattern. I'm a newbie quilter, but a seasoned needlework designer and time is a precious commodity and therefore try to remember this.

An early Thanksgiving wish to you all! Lynne

No, I didn't quilt in the stars and yes, I felt like it helped make the stars "pop".

When I googled "Hunter Star" and "Hunter's Star" the same pattern came up.
