This is a longshot, but while driving across Minnesota on I-90 this past weekend a bin fell from my car that contained this quilt made by my mother from t-shirts I had growing up. Maybe social media could help me find it?
We lost it somewhere between 0 and 50 miles West of Albert Lea while traveling east bound. It was in a blue bin along with a sleeping bag, other blankets, and an additional quilt my mom made with all my jeans from when i was growing up Thanks all

Can you post this on FB? I have family that live in Albert Lea, and I can pass this on to them, so they can keep an eye out for it.

I am so sorry for your lost. I would also post it at quilt shops and every resale store (in case someone drops them off) that were near the route you took.

I'm so sorry that you lost that quilt. Your heart must be broken. Someone must have thought that the quilt had some value and I would look for it on either eBay or Craig's List. So many quilts lost. Wonder what people are thinking when they "find" something on the side of the road and decide to keep it.

Did it have a label? I have started adding my city when I make a label.

It was the only item missing from the bin? I would hope the quilt wasn't in the bin like I thought. Could be an animal dragged that one item off too. I hope you find your quilt. It will be sad feeling to have to remember it was lost.

So sorry you lost your quilt. There's a "Lost Quilt" website you should post it on, too. Good luck finding it. I would watch craisgslist and ebay daily.

It would probably also be a good idea to post a "lost" notice on craigslist pages of cities in the 50 mile area where it was lost. If someone found it, they probably have no idea who to return it to. But if you post a lost notice, with the picture, there will be no doubt who the rightful owner is they need to contact.

Fabric is like money, no matter how much you have it's never enough.
