Please, help me choose a binding

I am ALMOST done quilting this quilt, (the picture was taken a few weeks back) and I can't decide on a fabric for the binding. I have enough red or black to do it. I have also been looking for a black and red stripe fabric without success. I don't know what to use. This quilt is for my little sister who is well. OUT THERE!!!! lol Love her to pieces, she has always gotta be center of attention, she is the life of the party, and she is really fun and LOUD!
What would you do?

justwanna,
I found some black and red strip fabric from andover, here is the website. The line is called Olivia's Big Dreams. I think it would look great with your quilt. If not, what about black on the red side and red on the black side???

I love your sister's quilt!!! I think any fabric that is a smaller black and red print or a stripe would look good on this quilt...JMHO for what it's worth  I can't wait to see what you choose :D :D :D

How about black binding around the red edges and red binding around the black edges? It looks like you could do half-and-half. There'd be one block with a red edge that would get red binding, and one block with a black edge that would get black binding, but I think that would just add even more character.
I also like bias bindings made out of striped fabric if you can find it. I actually think the idea above, though, is more in keeping with the color-block nature of the quilt.
