That can be frustrating. It looks like Jane solved that issue by adding borders to the blocks where they were needed...I have certainly done the same.

Lots of tips and tricks are posted on the current and completed Dear Jane threads.

I believe there are tutorials for the best method to make each block at:

http://thatquilt.blogspot.com/

She cannot call it Dear Jane due to copyright issues.

If you can scan from the book into your computer, then "open" the scanned image in a program like Adobe Photoshop you can resize them.

Nowhere is it written that you have to do ALL the blocks.
You can take what you have and make a wallhanging from it.
Or a potholder. ;-)

You still get to call it DONE.

Wow! What an amazingly helpful bunch of answers!! I'd have never known about the CD if I hadn't asked here and I'm glad I swallowed my pride and just went for it. It's good to find I wasn't alone in wondering about this either. I'm going to look for the CD and thank you again! Kitsie-great hints and tips and all in all, an intense bunch of information.

We would love to have you join us at the site katybob referenced. I find this group so encouraging and inspirational. I'm not sure I would continue on without the support of everyone and seeing their beautiful blocks.

Thank you, Judy. I have looked through the site and Nancy "invited" me way back when! Don't know how to explain it but I'm a do-it-my-way on-my-own-time person! I just go through the blocks one at a time, usually one a day.
