No quilt shop recommendations, but I hope you get a chance to see some pretty scenary up there. I made my brother and his wife take me and my DD to Bushkill Falls and Dingman Falls when we went to visit them in 2008. They live west of Philly. It was a beautiful day trip.

The Endless Mountain Quilt Shop in Tunkhannock, Pa. Run by some very nice ladies. They put on an outdoor quilt show every October. I'm not sure if it's a bit further north than you want to go or not. It's right around Clarks Summit, Pa. Enjoy your trip!!!!

I would head over to the Lancaster area, Denver, Intercourse, Bird in Hand. Great shops like Burkholders, etc.

I did not see any fabric stores around there either. I agree withannthreecats, bushkill falls is beautiful. And a wonderful but small playhouse there.

I live in the Poconos. I go to The Country Quilterie in Effort, Pocono Sew and Vac in Stroudsburg (they have a nice selection of fabrics and clearance fabrics too), American Ribbon Fabric, also in Stroudsburg, just a few blocks from Sew and Vac) and Wooden Bridge Dry Goods in Kutztown ( a bit of a drive but a huge store chock full of fabrics at good prices)
