Only thing I've had difficulty with (and have used those holey woven poly jerseys, poly knit golf shirts, rayon swim trunks, poly woven shirts) is with an outdoor PolarFleece jacket--while it sewed into the quilt just fine, it was a bear on my Long arm--think the heavy water resistant scrim in the fleece was causing a lot of drag on the LA--had to take it slow.
