Yes, last fall I did take my machine and some simple sewing out on the deck. It was fantastic to be out there. I didn't get a chance this spring but am looking forward to fall and doing it again.

My granddaughter and I quit with a battery operated machine when we camp! It is about the only time I get with her except Christmas.

Sometimes. And soon Threads of Time is installing a gazebo just off their conference/sewing hall so that we can sit, eat or sew out there.

I like to hand quilt outside in the spring/fall. Summer here is usually to HOT! I have taken my sewing machine to the back deck & set it on the patio table. When the temp isn't bad it's very peaceful outside. Plus I'm also in the country with woods at the back and a mountain at the side of us, lots of wildlife to see and listen to! :)

when I made furry jackets for DGDs, I cut and sewed them outside. The flying fake fur was making me sneeze.

We have a screened-in back porch and I sit out there and work on my hand-pieced Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt every morning.

Sewed for 5 hours today in the gazebo. Now that I also have a fridge out there, cool drinks and music are soooo nice.
