Has the postage suddenly gone up in the USA, I have just recieved my Fabric Shack order and the postage was very expensive compared to usual? :(

It went up a little bit, but not that much. I am not sure about international mail, but flat rate priority boxes went up some.

I don't know if it has gone up, but I was simply blown away when I mailed a box to my mother (it wasn't big or heavy, just two quilts), priority, insured, tracking. I about had a heart attach when they told me $57, next time I may look at UPS not USPS. They could hold cost if they would just stop Saturday delivery. I think we all could live with that.

It has. It cost me over $5 to send something to Clermont yesterday and it's a 2 hr drive. There is no more first class for large envelopes, it goes to Priority at some point. I surely don't mail as much to the grand children as I used to. Fed EX has gone to the moon!
