Has anyone made the retangular pot holders? What size have you made them?

I think 8 inch is perfect!!! I tried 10 inch and the hubby hated them...too big. I also have been making them 6 inches since I have a Go die. They are ok...but my hubby complains they are too small. The 8 inch is just right.
