Has anyone used any other lining for the bags other than "Warm Tater" batting that is very costly. I was wondering if I could use another 100% fabric like extra muslin or a cut up towel. Thank you

As long as you know for sure that the towel is 100% cotton, I would be leery of using one with printing on it though :D:D:D

i just bought some very thin batting at joann's . i believe it was mountain mist something rose. it was 100% cotton and it was so much easier to work with. it was on sale for 50% off. going there tomorrow and getting some more - i have a 50% off regular price. i noticed at our quilt show that the our marketplace was very thin batting. i asked and they used 100% batting. i just like the look of the bags without all the bulkiness of warm tater.
