PPing Flimsy almost finished - border and quilting suggestions pleas

I've been pping this for awhile now, 90 blocks are done and put together. It measures 80 x 72 now. I want to put borders on, I'm thinking something appliqued like vines and flowers maybe. I have a home made quilting frame for my domestic machine and it will not hold a king size so I thought to do the borders QAYG and then attach. does anyone have a good link for how to do that? Also, any suggestions for quilting would be greatly appreciated, that is the hardest part of the process for me, what design to quilt. Thanks so much for looking, have a great day all!

put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

This is a great pineapple quilt. I wouldn't want to do anything that detracted from your fabulous piecing so if I were quilting this I would choose an allover design like swirls or a meander.

I agree - very nice colors. Sorry no suggestions for the QAYG to add the border.

That's very pretty!! I'm seeing circles and squares when I look at the quilt, so that's how I would quilt it. Something very simple. You can do something more dramatic in the borders!! My drawing leaves a lot to be desired, but I tried.

May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.
