Hi everyone! I just finished a quilt with a prairie point border and I'm wondering what will happen to those nice crisp little points when the quilt is washed. Have any of you had experience with this? I'm afraid they will be wrinkly and not so cute anymore. I'm gonna try and post a picture of the quilt because I'm really happy with the way it looks....crossing my fingers that this will work!

love the quilt, don't know what will happen with your points, will be interested to find out. I would think since they are folded they may get a bit softer and not a crisp but still pointed. You could always iron the points afterwards.

The points really add something special. Beautiful. I too am guessing a light ironing will be needed.

Have confidence that it will be fine, maybe with a little iron touch-up. It's beautiful!!!

Yes, they will wrinkle but so will hopefully the whole quilt and it will have a warm homey look. This is a stunning quilt!
