Here is one I did. They were not hard, and the person who received it as a gift really liked them.

I just wanted to say I love that block pattern - I think it's Friendship Star, but with HSTs instead of squares in the corners to give that diagonal sashing effect?

I wanted to make a lapquilt for my neighbour as she is so kind and looks after the cat and chickens when we go away and I thought a Friendship Star would be appropriate - I think I'll do it like this!

I've fallen in love with the warm wishes quilts I've been seeing so I might try that. I need to find a quick and easy pattern to make another quilt. My husband is trying to claim the baby quilt for the couch. haha. Poor thing doesn't have one of his own yet!
Warm wishes is one of the easiest quilts I have made so far. And it has the neatest illusion too. Great quilt pattern...You'll finish it really fast!
