Can any of you please let me know it "light" boxes be made?, or must they be bought? My dining table is glass topped, so, could I place a lamp under it and use that for a "light" box? Thank you.

Jacqueline

Your table will work perfectly. That is as good as you can get. Use a good strong light that is stable so that it won't tip over. Great idea!!

You've got the idea, Jacqueline. If the lamp shines bright enough to do a tracing with, you've got yourself one of the easiest light boxes out there.

You've got the idea. I don't have a glass table but I do have sliding glass doors on a china cabinet that pop out. So I but a lamp in a large cardboard box place glass over top of box, voila, home made light box :P . You can either let the cord come out the top of the box and have the glass a bit skew iff or cut a hole in the side of the box for cord.
