Prefrence of thread for embroidery machine

I just purchased a Janome 300E embroidery machine to add embellishments to my quilting and was wondering what thread do you prefer?

I love Isacord, but I have a Bernina. Don't know if that matters. Did the Janome not come with some recommendations? Anyway, enjoy! It is so fun to add embroidery.

I love ThreadArt thread - you get a lot for your money and it's really beautiful thread. I use it for free-motion embroidery and quilting and for garment sewing when I need a specific color.

Lots of companies (including Brother, I think) market this exact thread with their own brand name on it - it's the same thread, but the lowest cost of any I've seen.
