    Aloha,
Has anyone used a presser foot for sewing curves? I want to make an apple core quilt & would like to know if anyone has used this foot with success. It is a bit spendy and I am not interested in a gimmick, but would buy it if it is a good addition to my machines. All posts will be most appreciated!!

I saw one demostrated at a quilt show I think was called curve master. The way it was used looked pretty slick but the price of 33 us for a little plstic I did not buy.

I've not seen what you are talking about, but if you have one of the 'old' presser foot like was standard on straight stitch only machines back when I started sewing, that has the wide side on the left and the narrow side on the right, it works quite nicely.

I have the curve master foot but have never used it. It would help if I knew where I hid it from myself!

Yes I have this foot. I bought it at a quilt show and when I got home I thought, what did I buy this foot and these tweezers for???. But I used it, made this quilt, and I really do like it. The curves go together so easy. I did use the tweezers that she sold and I think they did help but, I think any tweezers would have had the same effect.

Circle quilt. I did use Dec. stitch in the ditch on this.

That is a pretty quilt. I just use my regular foot and it works fine.

Yes, I am sure I could have made it with the regular foot, but then I couldn't have purchased the 30.00 foot. Oh well, to late now...

Thank you all so much for your quick replies. Will do a little experimenting with my regular foot before buying one.
