Mum and I both have a few sets of 5" charms that have been sitting in our stashes for sometime. Mum found a cute Christmas quilt and a scrap bag she would like to make from her charms but is wondering if she can pre wash them being they are so small. She recently serged around some fat quarters and eighths and pre washed those and they turned out great.

Has anyone out there pre washed 5" charms???? She knows that she will have to wash out this bag and quilt over time and is concerned about shrinkage.

    All suggestions welcome!!

    Cheers

Would simply steaming them with an iron serve the purpose? That's probably what I would try. (:

Don't waste thread serging, put them in a mesh laundry bag, like colors together, or a pillowcase and wash them that way!

OR some here on QB just soak them in a sink of warm water, press on a towel and let dry and iron. :-D
