Thread is going to increase, gasoline, wow, does anyone remember $.15 diesel everything is increasing except my husband and my S>S>. My co payment meds increase put me into shock. I must have o2 and other breathing meds. Thank God for my pain management MD he gives me samples. Dear Arthur won't leave me alone. For a new hobby that I have put off for years it is increasing--at least it will keep us warm and enable us to save something in the long run.
For all the complaining I still feel blessed and thank God we both are relatively healthy.

I understand about stocking up but let me say one thing. The elastic will dry rot if it lays around a long time. I remember when I was young and mom would stock up on underwear and not wear them for a year or two. When she went to wear them the elastic was dry rotted and not usable.

It is all due to the cotton shortage around the world...think the crops failed or something like that

If you store you thread in the freezer it lasts wayyyyyy longer. I've done this with my quilting thread for years.

Really, I've never heard of this. I've worn things with elastic for years and never had a problem. How strange!
