Thank heavens for our stashes, with the crazy weather all over the country where will fabric prices stop. Cotton crop is not good again this year. Gas prices keep going up with the fabric and groceries, time to use up the stash.

I remember when we did think that Batik's plus and Sew batiks was considered HIGH..not any more...though I do shop around a lot more closely these days...I try to avoid, Moda, Timeless treasures and Tongas...sorta of flimsy really....

I probably would have falling on the floor if she had said $18.99/yd.
If you ever buy batiks in Canada it will stop you in your tracks. $12. and up, up, up.

Sue's Sew EZ has some very nice batiks, reasonably priced:

Our LQS batiks run around $12.00/yd.

(I didn't pay full price for that, one either).
Please tell us what on earth you made from fabric priced at $89.95 a yard? I could never pay that price for fabric. I know I wouold have a major heart attack just thinking of cutting into any fabric with that price sticker. I would love to see a pic of what you made.

Connectingthreads.com has them for under $5. Marshals Drygoods also has some at reasonable prices.

Yes, I have seen batiks at 12.99/yd in several places.

Connecting Threads sells them for 6.99 or less, and I like their quality just fine. I won't ever be spending 12.99....I just can't afford that.
