    i made a pillow and valance for my daughters room using the disney allover pincess fabric. But I don't know how to use it to make a quilt to match. I am a newbie at this and would appeciate any help

    I used that very same fabric as the backing to a princess quilt I made for a friend's granddaughter. The front was princess fabric that had individual pincesses on it - I cut those out for the blocks and just did a sashing around each block. Can you find fabric like that? Sorry, don't have any left or would gladly share

    thats a good idea i didn"t think about using it on the back. It's also fustrating when your color blind.

    I too would use it for the back since the print is so large and pretty! If you can't find coordinating fabric for individual blocks, you might consider doing 10" blocks of your princess print and four patches of coordinating fabrics. My granddaughter would love it! She is a princess phanatic!

    LOL! What a lovely fabric! When I brought up your thread, my two year old on my lap about went nuts! "BELLE BELLE BELLE!!" I had no idea she was so into princesses! I guess I am going to have to make her a princess quilt too!
    Good luck with the quilt! Show us pictures when you are done!

    Those block would be great. You can use as is or cut apart and run sashing between them.
