What are the measurements for charms. I have a pattern for a tote I want to make for my good friends for Christmas, but do not want to buy more fabric as I have lots. I thought I could just cut them myself. the tote is really cute. found it at

Ohhh that's cute!! I just looked at the site. Yes, the charms they sell are 5 inches.
You could easily make your own.

They're 5" squares, but since you're cutting your own, you could decide how big you want your tote and go from there.

Thanks for the link. I liked the ruched strip across that tote.

I thought they were neat and not hard to make, though I have made totes before. just unlined ones. On a fixed income I look for things I can make so I can let these three ladies know how much they mean to me and to thank them for all they do for me. One shares a green house, one takes me on short day trips in the summer and the third takes me with her yard saleing. It's all about sisterhood. :-D :-D
