This is actually listed as a V50 steam generator iron and promises no spitting, and no auto shut off... Anyone have a Reliable brand iron??

I have the Reliable 100. Love love love it!

I have it, the orange one. It's a steam generator iron. It's the best iron I've ever used. But I use my no steam solid plate iron the most when I'm pressing blocks.

I wonder what the difference is between the two besides $40? Actually I think it is the size since the orange one is a compact

Nope just seen ya here and wanted to say hi so hi.

I have the Reliable Digital Velocity Iron too. It is pretty good. Mine is white with dark grey handle and Bluish water tank. It's big! It will leak if you even come close to overfilling it. (for a while) It is also a very heavy Iron when filled with water. I normally prefer heavy Irons but it was hard after shoulder surgery to use it. My sewing buddies are always commenting about how heavy it is. I can turn off the Auto Shut off, I like that!!! Other than overfill, it does not leak or spit. I'm not sure if it gets as hot as my old Rowenta. All in all I am happy with it. I spent over $100 on sale for this baby!!!

I kind of want to try it, but it's so much money!!!

Yep. I have one, and my friend Cindi has one. She gave me the one that used to be her mom's, after her mom passed. She actually did a review on it, you can see it here:
