I have an older Baby Lock machine. I bought a 1/4" generic foot for my first quilting class but I don't think I'm crazy about it. Does anyone have an opinion on a good foot? I was thinking about the Nancy's Notions Little Foot. Has anyone used it? Or could you recommend a good foot? My machine uses the low shank type of foot. Thanks for your help!!

i love the little foot..they make 2 different ones now..one is wider, to hit the feed dogs.
if your new to sewing, i think you need to get a "real 1/4" foot, with the bar on the side.
i am thinking, maybe kens sewing or brubakers on line..and email them to ask what they recommend.

I have the "little foot" and the one with the bar on the side. I don't use either often. I prefer to just put a couple layers of painters tape lined up to get a 1/4" seam. I put the tape up to but not over the feeddogs. I think i get a more accurate seam that way. it's just a personal preference.

I love the Little Foot! I have a Babylock and sometimes I just use the quilting stitch that is set up for 1/4 inch.

I have the 1/4 foot with the guide on the side for my babylock. You probably can find one from Nancy Notions(low shank).
