Hi Can someone please tell me how or when you would use this foot. Thank you. sue

This is the foot you use when piecing a quilt block and putting a quilt top together. The ideal is to have a 1/4 inch seam.

My 1/4" foot is the only one I use unless I want to do a fancy stitch.

When you want a 1/4" seam ... much easier to make it happen when you have this foot.

I have a Kenmore and a Bernina, and never had a 1/4 inch foot until I got the Bernina, and within a month of using it, went online and found one for my Kenmore. I would not be without them. They are so valuable. The accuracy of the 1/4 inch seam is so much better. You will love it.

Love the 1/4 inch foot and have one for my Bernina and Brother. My seams are so much more accurate using it.
