And the second I just started last week. Not that I don't have enough UFOs to keep me busy, but there's always something new to play with. I did identify my next UFO to quilt - but then ignored it in favour of more interesting projects :)

That really doesn't sound like a UFO to me but we probably all have our own ideas of what a UFO is. If what you described is included as a UFO I'm in even more doodoo than I thought! I probably have 100 projects I've bought the fabric for, etc and haven't even started on. :D

Hi my name is Pat and I am as guilty as everyone else on here. I have so many I am afraid to count them. My goal for the year is to finish 2 UFO's for each new project I start. Some only need a little to finish. Here is my first UFO finish of the year. It has been a 4 or 5 year project. It has been sitting for a year just needing the binding hand sewn. It is now finished and on my bed. I have a convergence quilt that needed some applique on it. I have the applique pinned on and it needs something more so it is hanging on the wall so I can stare at it from time to time so I can figure out what it needs. Is there a 10 or 12 step program for quilters?

Krista--even if they weren't UFOs, great job on finishing two quilts...if you hadn't finished them this past weekend and they sat to work on another UFO then they *would have* become UFOs. :) Either way they are done now so that is good!

Meanmom--thanks for sharing your quilt top. I like the blocks in the border...I have a couple books on making pieced borders but have yet to take the time to make one! I usually just want the border on so I can be done.

Great finish meanmom! I can relate to the poor UFO that languishes for hand stitched binding (3 years). And when you finally do it, it goes super fast!

I have 3 lined up for binding. I am trying to bind one, piece one every month. My bind one is done for this month so I am pushing on the piece one to get 'er done.

looks like a jelly roll quilt, but it's not. Just scraps. Started this one years ago and lost interest. you can see the creases from sitting on the shelf. Just needed binding. Well, it's finished now. I'll probably donate it to a child.

Dedicated to my SISTER Fraew. (she should be my sister) My FIRST finish of 2013.

I am making 29 scrappy quilts out of my MIL's stash. She's 90years old and was worried about what would become of her treasure. I suggested quilts for each of her children and grandchildren. I will name them all "From Grandma's Closet".

This pattern is from the http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...e-t209515.html hosted by PaintMeJudy. Sorry it's so bright.. but it is...bright... lol yipee fuchsia! This was my first ever attempt at free-motion quilting. I was sooo scared! It all puckers in the wash though so... (That's going to be my motto for the next 28 quilts...It all puckers in the wash...) I quilted stars and swirls in the star, free motion in the 9patches and a heart/flower/heart in the sashing. It was my second attempt at mitered binding. I was nervous through the whole sewing process. It's almost like grandma's fabric whispers to me. I remember many of the pieces.

Thank you Fraew for all your support!!!
