My newest project though is a 365 Day Quilt project, you basically journal on one block a day for 365 days, then sew it all up into a quilt. Thanks again everyone!! I am having fun so far. I only have 4 blocks done and will be writing my 5th tonight, but so far so good!! :) I posted some more details on my pattern on the blog as well as some ides for journaling if anyone wants to try this but is intimidating by the writing aspect.

Rachel, I am enjoying watching your progress, but will have to put this idea on the back burner for myself. I am currently working on an anniversary quilt (with photos) for my parent's 66th, and finishing a quilt for my DD's choir trips.
I really like your choices for the sky. The batiks are a great choice, for all the motion in them. It will keep the quilt from appearing 'flat'. |
