What is the largest that you have made your squares for his block I know the corner squares don't get cut. I was thinking aout possible putting 6 0R 6 1/2 " SQUARE so that aybe ould use panel pitures in corners.
Any ideas on this or opinions. As of yet I have not done this pattern yet. Just try to come up with some ideas for it.
Have a good day & happy sewing!

I am sure that would work are you talking about the disappearing 9 patch? I should not be a problem.

You can use whatever size you want. I think the one I did were 6 1/2 inch squares. makes an easy size to cut and resew.

When I'm trying something for the first time I do a test block or 2. It gives me an idea of the "look" and allow me to make corrections without cutting into my "good" fabric.:)

I recently finished the top for the DP9, it was quick, I used 5 inch squares, but I don't see why 6inch finished blocks wouldn't work, consider what the finished size will be
