I have watched all the posts regarding this.. and most of you seem to love it.

Why don't they sell this in the UK?

Why are we always the last to get anything good over here!

Sorry... just having a moan!

Hugs

Think of all the wonderful things that come from your side of the "pond"! Including television shows such as, Dr Who, As Time Goes By, Fawlty Towers etc...that we here had to wait for until the series were over with!!

Caroline - seriously, you dont know what happened to Vi yet? i would DIE ! cant you watch episodes on line? I have an empty bedroom Come to Phx & we'll watch all the repeats & quilt LOL

CarolinePaj 06-18-2010 02:45 PM

Now Boyd....

Don't make offers you don't mean... LOL LOL LOL.

Seriously, I am just dying to know what happens... I just love Private practice and a whole heap of your shows that we get so late over here.

Living is the channel that show Private Practice and they are starting to show trailers which means that I have about another month to six weeks to wait before they start the new series.

I hadn't thought about watching on-line. But I have to say that my download speeds are dodgy so I don't know if that is an option... but I will give it a go.

Now... what I can say is that.... I too have a guest room and I have just turned the dining room into a sewing room.... so, you could put all the episodes I haven't seen onto a disc, hop on a plane and come and visit me in Bucks (lovely countyside... very green) and we can sit and sew and watch and have a lovely visit!

Hugs

Caroline

P.S. You won't be able to bring any clothes because I need you to fill your cases with stash and a accuquilt go for me...LOL LOL LOL!

Sorry but as an English woman, I resent that remark. It is so NOT true. You claim the Accuquilt isn't available in the UK but you obviously haven't checked because Katrine has given you two UK suppliers which I suspect are not the only ones.

I've been living in France for the last few years and am about to move back to the UK - a fairly rural part of Somerset. I have been researching LQS, suppliers both online and bricks and mortar, quilting groups, shows etc in the area around my new home and there is an abundance. I see you live in Buckinghamshire, being much less rural than Somerset, I can't imagine that you are any worse off over there. For quilting shops, try www.cosman.nl. Every orange dot is an LQS and this is not all of them. Try these ppl http://www.ladysewandsew.com/v2/index.php They are in Marlow and I have even had them deliver stuff to me over here in France. There are always sale items and fabric, and the owner is very helpful.

I don't know about that. My children likes the British authors and they are always waiting six months or more for books to be released here. We are waiting on some now that I pre ordered the first of the year.
