Looks like a must have to me, I hope someone who has used one chimes in!
Hmmmmm... Haven't heard of it...I'll be watching to see if anyone has used it...
I don't have them, but they look interesting.
This sounds like something I NEED!! (want)

8-) this company is going to be at the Novi (michigan) sewing expo this weekend... don't they look sweet?!! |
wow, that looks so cool, I never have heard of it, I hope someone will posts if they have it to let us know how they like it
thanks for finding this link for us |
They certainly look interesting. Will be watching for comments with interest.
Look like you could have a lot of fun with these

Thanks for the link! They definitely look like something that could be very useful. Kind of pricey for my budget, but then I'm the original El Cheapo!!!
They WON'T be on my Christmas wish list. Maybe if I did alot of sewing that these "specialty feet" do I would accept them as a gift as long as someone else was paying. LOL but I don't think I would ever buy them! 71.00 for some generic feet! nah, I'm good.

They look interesting, but I definitely don't have $80+ dollars to spend.

this is the one i was looking at: http://www.creativefeet.com/products...satinedge-foot and while we are at it.."looking and dreaming"..here is basting glue..would work better than the glue sticks.. http://www.creativefeet.com/products/accessories i wish i was going to the novi sewing expo..i will bet they will be doing the demo! i can't walk that good yet..my new knee is only 7 weeks old..so i don't think i should even try.. :? |
Looks interesting but.........
Kim, bring a wheelchair and I would be glad to push you around!lol
Gale |
can you imagine the crowds and the folks i would be running over?!! lol!
my friend sandy is going..i usually go with her..but not this time.. you have fun though! |
These feet aren't new--I've had mine probably 10-15 years. I used them a good bit when I got them but the things I was making changed and I didn't use them so much. I still have them, though. They worked great for what they were designed for.
Looks great. I googled and found it here in Australia - $150 :( Maybe I don't need it
I did see them demonstrated at the Denver show in July. They were a little steep in price for plastic. I did purchase the invisible thread and the glue. I can't find the glue so I can't help there but I have used their thread and I was very pleased with it's performance.
I bought these years ago when they first came out. I used them a lot back then. I have not used them much recently. They are great for doll clothes, costumes and the satin edge foot works very well.
I agree, I would rather spend the money on fabric
I'll look for them at the Novi show this week end. I was planning to check out some new feet for my Viking and old Kenmore. But I'm pretty cheap so we'll see.......
I don't think I'd use it. I have most of the feet for my machine (they came with it) so I have the beading, pintuck, zipper, walking foot, rolled edge foot, etc etc.
I am however getting the quilt binding attachment for my new Janome. It will fold and apply the binding along the edge of the quilt and the needle goes perfectly along the edge. Now THAT was a must have! |
I think I have a couple of these feet! I will have to dig them out and give them a try. The one that interests me the most is the satin edge foot for applique.
OK now i want one lol thankx!! hehe
I just did a search on ebay and found my machine has a foot made for it for the sequin, yarn, ribbon and its a bit cheaper so u might wanna look around. I have a Baby Lock Ellure...

I just bought a new machine and it came with all kinds of feet that do all of that stuff. So I will be taking a pass. I wouldn't spend that kind of money anyway. I am with the rest of you and would rather spend it on fabric.
So the "subject title" fits the bill! lol! Thanks for all the input..!
I've had them for several years, at least 10. Have I ever used them? No.
I've had them for a while, too. I used them a lot when I was sewing garments and the like. Maybe I have to dig them out again and see what they will do for my quilting!
$80.00? I checked out the Satinedge and saw a price of $25.00. I think you can buy them separately. That'd be the one I want.
Oops, OK this has been posted. |
I have 2 of the sewing feet purchased about 15 to 20 years ago at the Sew Expo in Puyallup, WA. I use the adapter foot all the time and my feet are interchangeable with all of my machines. Don't know what they cost now but they have really been worth the money to me.
A little pricey for a play toy. Unless we can figure out a way to make an entire quilt using these. Just a thought.

I really want that satin edge one. Anyone want to give up one rattling around in their sewing box? I'll pay.
