Another light bulb moment
 

I've been sewing binding onto my king sized quilt. Way too hot to sew on my lap (my usual way). Yesterday I tried using my kitchen table. That was hard on my back. Today I just accordian pleated the quilt on two chairs, draped binding over back of chairs, sat behind back & sewed away. Bingo, just the right height for me. Probably I'm the last to know this.grin.

Isn't it wonderful when you think of things to make quilting so much better? Good for you. enjoy!

Hey....whatever works, all for keeping cool, was without power for 24 hours, really appreciating my AC today and just haveing the TV and internet back.....

No-no, we all do whatever works! Here's my method with light source close enough to do black thread on 2 black fabrics! Used a quilt display rack that was made for me, office chair, bed pillows and a little clip-on light with an Ott bulb!
