A dear friend of mine whom I have not seen in about 15 years - sadly she lives about 20 minutes from me - how pathetic is that!?! But... life happens... anyways - she contacted me via fb and was asking about quilting - she's to become a grandma before the year is out!!:) - - - we have been giving/taking quilt lessons via skype!!! SHE IS HOOKED!!! I love it - she chose a very simple pattern (wisely!) and decided she did not like the exact way it looked and chose some different colors for hers... she actually was able to think it through - hue-wise and if there was too much color in one area as compared to another - where the heck was she when I did MY first quilt :) Anyways - she's captivated by it, loves color, and I cannot wait until she does the next one!!!:) Because I know she will!!
