I am looking for a pattern for a Teddy Bear. I have an old pieced quilt that is beyond any repair but would like to make Teddy Bears out of it but I can't find a pattern. I have seen these bears made in antique stores, but no pattern

Have you checked the pattern books at JoAnn Fabrics? Most of them have a crafts section, and that is where you find the stuffed animal patterns.
You may also be able to find a pattern by looking at the pattern books online. Simplicity, McCall's and Vogue are the companies that come to mind. Also check your library for books on making teddy bears. These often have patterns in them. Here is a link to a bear-making book at Amazon (be sure to read the reviews): http://www.amazon.com/Quick-Easy-Ted.../dp/0486268640 and I found this free pattern website: http://www.funkyfriendsfactory.com/M...r-pattern.aspx |

I literally JUST posted this picture. Check the link, I sewed this by hand. I think it was a McCall's pattern. |
