I just got Darlene Zimmerman's book "The Quilter's Edge" book from QB's classified, and absolutely LOVE the book and ideas presented...

Have any of you used her Flip n Set ruler? Would you recommend it for a beginner quilter like myself?

Interested in any opinions. I have been looking at this ruler too.

It works well and takes the guess work out of deciding how big to cut the setting triangles needed for on point settings. It's not absolutely essential as there are charts that will give you the proper size to cut if you don't like doing your own math. The biggest drawback was the price. I paid $27.99 for it.

I have this ruler and have never used it. I saved the directions though! I was thinking when I bought it to use it to square up the quilt corners. I looked and the price on the still in the package ruler was marked down to $4 from Walmart. It was a green sticker, Walmart hasn't used green stickers here in years.

Yes... that's the one. But where can I find a chart that gives the same information?
