Vintage fabrics. By vintage, I mean the 36 inch wide fabrics
that have prints from the 30's, 40's, and 50's, Clear as mud right? I love the older fabs, especially if they still have a good hand, and are intact. So, just wondering if any of you also prefer vintage/   |
Love it, but hard to find around here.

Would love to have some but just can't find it.

I love all cotton fabric.

I wish I could 'discover' a forgotten cache of indigo calicoes, like the Stifel Calicoes made in Wheeling, WV. I think they're a bit earlier than your favorites, which are pretty cool, too.

I love pretty much anything vintage. When my mom passed, she left some 50's and 60's fabric. My sister and I made quilts for our 3 siblings and, of course, one for each other. I have sent for some repro 30's and 40's for some projects, but I would love to find the 'real' stuff!

I love them!!! I have a few and they are tucked away and I don't know if I will ever use them for anything other than just being admired and petted!

I wouldn't say I'm addicted to the vintage fabrics, but I love how much thicker the vintage fabrics are compaired to what I can buy today. I was lucky to score a garbage bag of vintage fabrics at an auction for $8.

Yes, I love them like crazy!
