While being frustrated with getting a back together for my latest finished quilt top (I just can't do BIG...any big pieces end up cut wonky and then after washing and ironing my kitty got muddy pawprints all over...so back in the washer it goes ((SIGH)) Anyway, I was surfing the net and came across Bee In My Bonnet website. WOW! is all I can say for her quilt patterns. They look so awesome. So have any of you made a Bee In My Bonnet quilt? If so, do you have pictures? How were the directions? I would so love to attempt the paper dolls quilt or maybe the How to Make a Snowman...they are all really detailed! Just thought I would ask! Hope those of you west of me are handling the snowstorm a-ok and are staying safe. We are getting rain (and that is how my kitty cat got muddy paws..and its my fault that I wasn't paying attention. She's really a very good kitty :) )

I should have posted the link...its actually her blog, but I think all of her patterns are on the right hand side of the blog. I love her blog, but it takes forever to load on my computer...I think it is my computer..not her blog. Here is the link:

I haven't seen her patterns before, but they are really unusual. Her blog has a LOT of stuff...gotta come back to it later and browse around for awhile. Thanks for the link.

My sister told me yesterday that she (and a couple of cousins) are going to arrange a family reunion this summer. We are a huge family. Anyway, the Family Reunion quilt on her page caught my eye, and I might say something to my sister about me making the quilt and offering it as a door prize at the reunion. Thanks for posting her web address.

I thought of that too! A friend of mine has annual family reunions and has several family members that quilt. They sell raffle tickets at the reunion for a quilt that they have worked on together through the year. They use that money to fund the next year's reunion. I thought that was a cool idea. She said everyone wants to win the quilt because it is made by family members and often contains special fabrics or family names etc.

Just took the time to browse Bee In My Bonnet and you are right, her patterns are adorable. I think I am going to have to get the "Eat Cake" pattern. I might add birthday candles to the cake and hang it on the day of our family's monthly birthday party. Thanks for the link.

I love her work! Never tackled one of her patterns but maybe someday. I wonder how many hours goes into one of those.

Nice patterns (really like the apron one) but at $25 they're way out of my price range I'm afraid :(
