Would like to try one, anyone know of a site? If all else fails will buy a pattern or find an apron at a thrift store, if I can and use it as a pattern. I do like the old ones my grandmother wore with the bib. Oh memories.

The best apron patterns (vintage styles) come from Mary Mulari's site. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I think the patterns are $6.95 U.S. and $8.95 in Canada. I making the Church Lady pattern right now out of a vintage cheddar orange/ violet flowered print.

Oh too funny ... just like the ones I made when I was a kid. Mom's idea as to how we should learn to sew.
And complete with pre-made bias binding edges. Oh how I hated doing those!

Thanks for the replies, I will look through the links. I have some fabric that would be perfect for an old fashioned looking apron.

Wish I had a dollar for every bib top apron I made over the years, I'd be rich. I just used the one I had for a pattern.
