Anyone use "Forever cushions" while at the machine?

Watching "The Five " today. One of the guys showed his Forever cushion he was sitting on, and swore by it...There are all kinds come up when I google the name...
I seem to remember one of you mentioning a cushion, but don't recall any more than that..Seems pretty sweet to me, and a good Christmas gifts for my computer gals...
I don't know what is best to buy..Without spending $80, that is...
Any information would be appreciated..

Give me a hint what you are talking about? A covered foam cushion? Something to sit on if you have a sore bottom?
A cushion for a wheelchair? What is the Forever part ?

I don't know what a forever cushion is. I have a bothersome back issue, and use a Gypsy Sit Upon whenever I sew. Actually I have one at work, one in the car, and one at home.

I was suffering some pain at a quilting retreat and one of the ladies said "Try this for a little while." It was this weird purple plastic thing filled with air. I was in love with it as the pain was eased instantly. It is very similar to sitting on an exercise ball, only more stable.

I note that Amazon now has them for sale, and I've seen similar aparatus in yoga studios.

hope this helps.

I don't know what a forever cushion is, either. I have one of the weird purple gypsy cushions, but found it rather annoying, so I don't use it much. I got mine at Target next to the dumbbells.

TanyaL..It looked like this, only plain on one side, not fleece . I think probably a wheelchair cushion is somewhat the same thing...sounds kinda nice for sitting any length of time..

Hi NUBQ,

I just saw the ad for the "forever pillow" on TV while eating my lunch today. It is a pillow that has two pieces of foam sandwiched with gel material in the middle. The outer cover material can be removed and washed. Boy, it did look mighty good and I wondered, like you, if anyone has tried it. On the TV ad you bought one for $19.95 and they throw in a second pillow for free. I too will be looking for some recommendation or testimonial. Thanks for posing the question!

Saw probably what you're looking for today as an advertisement on TV. Getforevercomfy.com or 1-800-528-3635 "As seenon TV"----buy 1 @ $19.95 or 2nd one free w/sh. Good luck!

I saw a commercial this morning for the Forever Comfy Cushion and my husband said that this is the cushion that Eric on "The Five" was using and spoke highly of. I think I may have to invest in this and see if it works cause I need one in my sewing room and for my office chair!

Looked for some reviews of the Forever Comfy cushion and found this site:
http://scimark.blogspot.com/2012/06/...ver-comfy.html

He doesn't really review it but read the comments on the page.....and be careful!! I'm always afraid to buy from this kind of TV ad as I've read so much about people's experience of paying so much more than they say and of getting on lists you can't get off of, etc etc. The cushion sounds good but maybe at some point it will show up in stores, as so many of the TV ad items do.

I have a Gypsy Sit Upon thing and am not liking it much. I feel like I'm sitting on a big bouncy ball and I can't seem to stay comfortable. A friend of mine loaned it to me but it just feels weird to me. I can't seem to get the hang of it. I do sit on an office chair so maybe it's designed more for those that sit on hard chairs?
I have been on the lookout for a posture pillow. I'm going to get one one of these days. I keep checking Walmart to see if they have one. I feel better knowing that it can go back if it isn't all that it claims.

My husband has a Wondergel extreme seat cushion. It has 2" of gel. He had lost so much weight that he developed a pressure sore over his tail bone from just sitting and we tried EVERYcushion we could find to ease the pain of sitting. This was recommended by a nurse friend and it has worked. His sore has healed, but he has to sit on this EVERY time he sits as he has lost all muscle and fat in that area of his body due to his illness. I've tried it and it is quite comfortable. The price is about $80.

boy that one price beats the $147.00 i just spent on one for my hubby. he sits all day in his recliner and sleeps there due to back and neck problems and is getting a sore bottom. i got him a cushion that is for wheel chairs. should be here soon so we will see if its' any good then.

I finally made cushions for my niece who has crohnes, using thick foam pads with cotton batting and "pillow case" for the cover so it could come all apart and be washed. Just replaced the cotton batting when necessary.
