Anyone used fusible vinyl on purses??
Has anyone used the fusible vinyl on purses that they make? I am thinking I would like to make a more water proof bag and was wondering if anyone has done this before.

If that's what you want ... then do it!
I haven't seen the product in the stores. I believe it's promoted for making tote bags and the like. So no reason why you couldn't do a purse with it. |
I don't see why you couldn't use it. I made some fabric bowls several years ago and used it on there, works great.

done it many times...i have made bags after fusing, But the number one way I have used this product is to reupholster high chairs to match the dining room or kitchen chairs... waterproof the scraps, you don't even have to worry if there isn't a pc big enough...trim round the print neatly and fuse the plastic on, overlapping to camouflage...it will never be touched so it doesn't hurt anything and make your high chair match the rest of the family. I have done this for lots of people and it's always a hit.... placemats to match chairs? also great for an informal look...
