I saw the discussion on the Paducah show and wondered if anyone else is going to the show in Lancaster this year, the last weekend in March. It is a new venue for AQS after Quilter's Heritage pulled out. My sister is coming up from Dallas to go with me, we are really looking forward to it. It would be great to meet other members of this forum there!

I usually attend but am not sure about this year. I probably will end up there if just to see the difference between previous years and this one.

I'm going but I can't go until Saturday which is the last day, but I have never been and I can't wait. Lancaster is about an hour or so away. I'm trying to talk my non-quilting sister to go along just for the company and what fun would it be to meet some of my quilting friends from this board...

Weatherly is close to Wilkes Barre, White Haven, Hazleton, Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Conyngham. All off of either Rt. 80-81 or 93. Are you close to any of these areas? I can be in either of these directions anywhere from 20-30 minutes.

nope, I'm approx. 40 minutes nw of Harrisburg and about 1 - 1 1/2 hrs from Lancaster. I have been to Hazelton before a long time ago. would love to go to Jim Thorpe sometime.

My internet quilting pals have been meeting there for the past 8 years. Most of us stay about 3 days, one day for the show and the rest for shopping for fabrics at those great low prices. Anyone staying at the Country Living Motel is invited to our Show and Tell on Thursday evening of the show week, begins at 7pm in the lobby.

New group hosting the show this year and it's location has been changed to downtown Lancaster. From the info I've received from our motel there are several small parking lots with a $5 parking fee but it's first come first served. There will be shuttle service but free only if you're staying at certain hotels/motels, for others it's $15 per day (What?). Our motel isn't one of the chosen ones so we're certainly going to spend time making up a car pool schedule for the show. May in Jersey
