Gollytwo, thanks for the tribute to someone who dedicated so much of her life, along with her husband to keep quilting preserved :)
A great reason to visit Nebraska, huh??

Yes thank you for the tribute and for sharing. She did leave her mark. BrendaK

I should have thought to give a link before - so here goes

http://www.quiltstudy.org to get to the International Quilt Study and Museum site.
They have a link to sign up for their monthly quilt selection.
It's where I first saw "The Promise" the great pioneer quilt I posted a while back.

I didn't realize she had passed; thanks for the mention.

The industry has lost a good and faithful servant.

I have been to this museum many times, (my daughter lived down the street from it while in law school). They rotate the quilts every month, I believe, so you can go multiple times and always see something new.

I just watched the podcast of Ernest Haight-fascinating!! I love some of the quilts where he made the blocks different sizes within the quilt- I'm bookmarking this site- it's wonderful, thank you!
