ALL: Just received my "advance notice" that the Artful Quilter shop in Burke, VA will close their doors in mid November, when their lease expires. Starting next week, everything in the store (fabrics, notions, some furniture, etc) will be on sale and everything must go by Nov. Sad that another shop is closing. If you are in the area beginning Sept. 15th, you might want to stop in. Sheri advises she is looking forward to retirement, and spending more time at their place in Florida.

Too bad as that was a really lovely shop.
I visited it more often when it was in the Centreville location.
One of the happier shops - in terms of staff and displays and ambience - I've been in.

Oh well.

I hate to here they are closing. Which I was there to see the fabric they have.
